Low-Cost WIFI and PCS Telemetry Products

Soltrum's WIFI and PCS telemetry products allow you to establish a wired or wireless telemetry solution using your exisiting connectivity or Sprint PCS 3G high-speed connectivity.

Soltrum telemetry solutions include:

  • Low-cost embedded telemetry servers and telemetry endpoints.
  • Use available connectivity or connect with wireless mobile high data rate Sprint PCS connectivity at up to 144 kbps and/or 802.11(a,b,g) and wired Ethernet.
  • Establish high-speed telemetry services with or without phone lines and existing network infrastructure.
  • Provide base-station and/or coordination server support for WIFI and wired telemetry endpoints.
  • Run database applications, provide connectivity, store and forward data, operate and update securely with secure full remote access.
  • 802.11 (a,b,g) Telemetry Endpoints for Machine and Vehicle Monitoring and Control in a local (802) and/or wide area (PCS) wireless network.
  • Use Sprint 3G Telemetry Endpoints for Machine and Vehicle Monitoring and Control where no local network is available.
  • Design, Manufacture, Customization and Installation by trained engineers.

Soltrum telemetry solutions are based on 3 hardware platforms. These platforms can be modified as needed for office, industrial, or on-vehicle applications.

Our compact, low-power, low-cost, advanced communication computers are based on a 133 Mhz 486 class processor. They have three 10/100 Mbit ethernet ports, up to 64 Mbyte SDRAM main memory and use a CompactFlash module for program and data storage. Each can be expanded using a MiniPCI type III board and up to two PC-Card/Cardbus adapters. For severe duty, pluggable modules can be replaced with board-mounted components.
